Lesson Procedure:

Warm up:

1. Greetings

2. Homework check
Check each Kid homework set in the last lesson. Ask each Kid some questions about their homework worksheet (e.g. "what color is it?"), give lots of praise, and then put some kind of mark on the homework sheet (e.g. a sticker, a stamp or draw a smiley face). Finally, tell the Kids to put their homework back into their bags.

3. Review past lesson
Kids need constant practice of new vocab, structures, songs, games and so on.

New Learning & Practice:

1. Teach and practice the body vocab
The Kids are told they are going to be learning about the human body parts. Then, the Teacher explains the words of the body parts in singular and plural form to the Kids. The Kids learn simple grammar about plural.
Singular +Plural
a) Head
b) Shoulder +s
c) Knee +s
d) Toe +s
e) Eye +s
f) Ear +s
g) Mouth
h) Nose
Sentence Practice:
T: What is it?
K: It is my head. I have one head.
It is my shoulder. I have two shoulders.
It is my knee. I have two knees.
It is my toe. I have two toes.
It is my eye. I have two eyes.
It is my ear. I have two ears.
It is my mouth. I have one mouth.
It is my nose. I have one nose.

2. Play “Flashcard Games”
Prepare flashcards of the parts of the body - Slowly reveal each flashcard and have the Kids touch their part of the body - Chorus each word three times and then ask the Kids to individually say each word. Randomly touch each card and have the Kids touch that part of their body and say the word – Do a final round with the card in the correct order of the song.

3. Sing the “Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes” song
Everyone needs to stand up. Simply touch the body parts with both hands in time with the song. The Teacher will start to sings and does all the action first with slowly and make the Kids following along. It’s easy and fun so the Kids will love doing this. Each verse gets faster so by the last verse it will be frantic but great fun.

Lyrics:
Verse 1:
Head, shoulders, knees and toes,
Head, shoulders, knees and toes,
Eyes and ears and mouth and nose,
Head, shoulders, knees and toes.
Verse 2:
Head, shoulders, knees and toes,
Head, shoulders, knees and toes,
Eyes and ears and mouth and nose,
Head, shoulders, knees and toes.
{Doing the gestures with this song is a must! They are very simple and the Kids will pick them up really quickly as they follow the Teacher.}

Wrap Up:

1. Assign Homework
Give out the “Part of the body” worksheets for the Kids to take home and say "Put your homework in your bags" and help them to do so - this is important as they will probably want to start coloring them right away.

2. Do "Quick Check"
Make sure everything is put away and the Kids have gathered their belongings.

3. Say Goodbye
